What is yourMoCoDesigns?

yourMoCoDesigns is an online portal for modern and contemporary design enthusiasts. It exists to serve as a tool for all those looking to either give a room a complete makeover, or just to spruce up a new apartment.  Beyond this broad purpose, however, yourMoCoDesigns has two main objectives.

First, we want to deliver a site that offers not just high value products, but an entire oasis for those who want to dive deep into the world of design. Through our Blog, you can read tips and articles from top designers here to help you. The blog posts can be followed on our Twitter and you will be able to comment of the postings. Additionally, through the Forum, you can respond to posts, engage in discussion with others designing in their own apartments and you can upload photos of the designs you have created right in your home, (hopefully with some of our products!). In partnering with Amazon.com we are able to offer this great selection of products at a great price.

Second, yourMoCoDesigns is a non profit web portal that donates all proceeds to charity called Drawbridge, an Arts program for homeless children. We are highly invested in the growth of creativity and design through the expression of art and our partnership with this charity will help further that goal. Please help us spread this love and good natured spirit my recommending us to friends and family who may be looking for a new look or and augmented look to their homes. This wonderful charity is in much need of our help so let’s see what we can do! We will periodically update this page to let you know how much we have helped them out! So come back soon!.

Why is it called yourMoCoDesigns?

yourMoCoDesigns is a name that is best explained from the end to the beginning. We are first of all a company that helps people with “design” and home decor. The customer is the new designer and this is a way to empower those who previously may not have known their inner design potential. To help focus our efforts, we have provided products that meet two specific design landscapes, “Mo”dern and “Co”ntemporary design.

Finally and most importantly, what separates us from any other design outlet and chain store offering similar products, is the inclusion you. “You” will provide all of the user generated content that will enhance the growing community that follows out page. This is not just a webstore, it is an entire platform with which you can further your design ideas. It will enable the inner designer aficionado in you to share your talents. The MoCoDesign family will be there to help you and will serve as a sounding board for your ideas. Where else can you get such a tool?

As a result it is this concept of you that will tie and bring everyone together due to the commonality of values. These values include offering affordable, attractive and value based products that are modern and contemporary in nature. yourMoCoDesigns created the tools to help you transfer your experiences from one another, now you must take advantage of all the great designers out there...FOR FREE! That fits all of the above commonalities through our love of creativity, artistry and collaboration. After all, we do what will “Bring out the interior designer in you...”
